Polypropylene radial fans
The main specialization of UralActiv Ltd. (Yekaterinburg) is the manufacturing and supplies of industrial polymer radial fans of acid-resistant type. These fans are manufactured in all standard sizes of low pressure (RVND), of medium pressure (RVSD) and of high pressure (RVVD). Their capacity is 180-100000 m3/h and the pressure up to 8000 Pa for different chemical acid or alkali mediums. The service life is about 50 years in aggressive gas medium.
There is a special model of fan presented – fan for laboratories and for exhaust fume hoods RVND-L-164. This fan is intended for airways with diameter 160 mm. Its capacity is 180-1600 m3/h.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
- The housing of fans (scroll housing) can be made from:
polypropylene block copolymer, grey color, RAL7032 - polyethylene, black color.
There also can other types of polymeric material (PVC, PVDF) according to the medium and its concentration.
Running wheels of fans can be made from
- steel with PVC-coating
- polypropylene
- reinforced chemical-resistant polymer.
Basic specification of PP radial fans
- Welded and corrugated chemically resistant rubber (consisting from 6 waves);
- vibration absorber;
- Pipe for condensate drain;
- All inside parts of the fan (balancing weight, shaft, hub) have polymeric coating.

- Acid-resistant fans of explosion-proof type according to the technical specification ТУ 4861-002-95801889-2016.
Operational conditions of polypropylene fans
Maximal service life of plastic fans is achieved at the operating temperature +5…+60 centigrade (temperature of gases and of place for installation). It is available to install the fan outside and to operate it at the negative temperature. In this case is necessary to protect the fan from the ultraviolet light. In any case the service life will decrease as compared with inside installation.
